Indian Drifer Build Update

I want to send out a big thank you to Michael for the awesome paint job that he delivered on my Indian Drifter Motorcycle Gas Tank.  The Rockin Red Pearl looks so sweet under the bright sun light folks.  I was impressed and could not be any happier with the outcome of this professional paint job.

My Scooter is coming along pretty good if I say so myself.  I finally had a little help from my friends and we were able to pull the rear brake mount for paint and measure/drill the Eagle Fender Ornament holes on the Fender.  We took our time and we measured the Fender 9 times from Sunday.  The mounting holes were drilled and my pretty Eagle bolted right up.  Hooking the light up is another story for my next posting update.  Thank you Lord for a Blessed Day!

Sunday's bike goals are to install my Progressive Heavy Duty Shocks and replace the wheel bearings and seals on the front & rear wheels.  I'm getting closer and closer readers to sharing the open road with you.  I have been booking certain Poker Runs & Fund Raisers this Summer for Children.  Everyone loves to read a good story when it come to helping Children.  It warms my Heart!

Winter Project ~ Indian Drifter

After almost 10 years of not riding my Harley Davidson Fatboy, I found myself missing the open road and those loud pipes busting down the Florida Coastline heading towards the Florida Keys.  I made a promise to myself that one day I would get another motorcycle and fill that gut wrenching void that comes from inside from my sick Motorcycle Heart.

Well, this time around I did not have the large amount of cash to buy a Harley Davidson Road King Classic, which would have been my first choice.  I completed an extensive 6 month search and I was very patient on my selections.  I really dug the Indian Chief Motorcycle but prices were too high and the quality was not that great according to all the motorcycle reviews.

I played the ebay game on several nice motorcycles but was either out-bid on or the price went beyond my budget.  Then I ran across the Indian Drifter VN1500 on COPART and it caught my eye from the very start of my search.  This bike was big, long, low, and had a 1500 v-twin water cooled motor with a drive shaft.  I feel in LOVE!  This motor sounds awesome with Vance & Hines Long Shots, (no baffles) and a Supercharger.  I cant wait till my build is complete.

I decided to paint this lady Rockin Red Pearl with Black trim and White pin stripping.  I tore her down to the frame and started operating on her.  lol.  She has all new everything.  I'm waiting on the gas tank to come back from the painter so I can finish my tune up and hopefully install a Supercharger.  Then we start her up!  I even want to install a MP3 Player Sound System.

Here is a Picture of the same Motorcycle painted the same color as I'm painting my bike.  I'm feeling Blessed.  Details to follow, Deadline on my build is May 20th, 2014.  Wish me luck and RIDE SAFE ALL!
