POUNDING THE PAVEMENT TO CEASERS CREEK STATE PARK

It's Sunday and I won't be going to church today.  Instead we shall go riding to help clear some of these cobwebs floating around inside my heart and inside my brain.  We decided to head Southeast for some old country roads and the comfort of nice friendly people.  I just needed to go and visit my Mother's grave before I rumbled out of town.  My thought is, "LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES".

The weather was partly cloudy with a chance of rain in the afternoon.  The temperature was going to hit a high of 60 decrees.  There was some gusty winds to deal with but what the hell, right?  I shall buy me a large windshield soon but for now, bring it on I say!  Plenty of water to stay hydrated.

The BP gas station visit was pretty cool when I rolled in to fill her up.  Many lookers checking out my "MISS NEVAEH ROSE".  It does make one feel good when you hear positive comments on something you put together with some help from your good friends.

Time to clear my fears.  I rolled onto US 35 E. and twisted the throttle.  I was doing nearly 65 miles an hour before I knew it.  Traffic was way behind me and no-one in sight to worry about.  My ride was smooth and comfy with those new chrome heavy duty shocks.  The gusty winds played hardball on me and battled with me nearly the whole ride on US 35 E.   I need a windshield!

Now I'm on US 42 S. heading towards Ceasers Creek State Park on SR 73.  Gusty winds was not as bad on US 42.  I did get to twist the throttle enough to get to 100 mph just to test my red ride and what she would do for me.  I was getting thirsty at this point and stopped at the Henderson's Bait Shop on SR. 73.  The sun was shinning bright while I was enjoying my water and a grape cigar.  Riding on.

I look forward to the Beach opening up this year for some relaxing swimming.  I have fished the hell out of this Lake and caught many fish both on land and with a boat.  I caught a nice 3 lb Walleye one year trolling a medium diver around the points.  That was a great day on the boat.  I had my brother Kevin with me on that fishing trip.

My windy Sunday blew right on by before I knew it.  I love those old country roads all around SR. 73 and Ceasers Creek State Park.  After checking my odometer, I ended up riding 106 miles round trip before I put my Beautiful Red Iron Horse back in her stable.  Thank you girl for a safe and happy ride.

It's not what you ride.  It's the fact that you ride.  As long as your knees are in the Breeze, you should be good.  There are those that do care and will not ride with you unless you ride a Harley Davidson.  To each there own I guess.  Most of my friends don't care what I ride, as long as I ride baby.

Heads up readers and drivers!  Its bike season, please be alert for motorcycles.  There is plenty of Black Top out there for everyone.  RIDE SAFE ALL!

WHEN LOVE FADES AWAY

I'm not starting 2015 off with a BIG BANG readers.  Growling Bear is having lady troubles.  I believe now that my girlfriend is not ready for a one on one relationship.  My pride and inner self can't take a certain kind of treatment from my girlfriend.  It hurts to say, "Good Bye".  I feel so bad inside.

It was not that long ago when Growling Bear fell hard for a Blonde Beauty he met on Facebook.  It turned out that Brenda and I also went to the same High School and we also shared many common friends.  The most important turn on about her was she had her own bike and she rides.

Our respect and desire for one another grew daily during the beginning months.  Our coffee dates, pillow talks and the softness of her skin took Growling Bear to the moon and back!  I fell in love with this Blonde Biker Babe.  Her eyes would tell a story as I made love to her.  Her hot twisting body would shake as I kissed her slowly all over.  I knew that one day she would be trouble for me.  I hate it when I'm right.

We have had a few fall outs and disagreements during this time frame but nothing like the fight we just had, one that did us in, I'm afraid.  She chose certain actions over me and I feel ill and just sick over the thought of not seeing her anymore.  Then she threw the Valentines Day card I got her in the trash.  My baby is gone.  She threw out my love and now it's time to let my Love for her Fade away.  She don't love me no more!

So, Growling Bear's is not going to be his happy go lucky self for a while.  I hope this gut wrenching pain goes away soon and before riding season starts.  The Million Ride to D.C. is in June.  I have my music, (mojo) for support, it will help me.  My select few of friends will also help.  Heart Palpitations have been solid for the past 3 days now.

Don't know how this will end but I hope she finds happiness and we find peace.

FURY ~ Featured Movie Review

It's April, 1945 and the Allies make their final push forward in the European Theatre.  Battle-hardened army sergeant, War Daddy commands a Sherman Tank and her fearless five-man crew on a mission deep behind enemy lines. They are out numbered and out gunned, but a rookie soldier finally steps up and becomes the hero as he and the rest of the crew face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

This action packed War Flic will shake you up, cause you to twist and jerk in your comfy Movie Theater Seat.  It might even cause your bucket of fresh buttered popcorn to jump right out of your lap.  Director, David Ayer did not blink an eye when including horrible graphic details of dying soldiers and the reality of  it's Mayham on the Blood Soaked Battlefield.

The cast includes Brad Pit, Shia LeBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and John Bernthal.  The writing, (Script) was smart, simple and certain pieces of the storyline seemed to be borrowed from, "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN".  With that being said, Brad Pitt and a few other co-stars will see Oscar Nominations for sure baby!

"FURY", has Grossed over $ 24MM at the Box Office so far.  I say this film will gross over $250MM Worldwide by the end of it's run.  Mr. Pitt, you should be very proud, this film moved me and that's hard to do.   I rate this film 4 STARS.  Don't wait to see this one, get out peeps and CHECK IT!

Indian Drifer Build Update

I want to send out a big thank you to Michael for the awesome paint job that he delivered on my Indian Drifter Motorcycle Gas Tank.  The Rockin Red Pearl looks so sweet under the bright sun light folks.  I was impressed and could not be any happier with the outcome of this professional paint job.

My Scooter is coming along pretty good if I say so myself.  I finally had a little help from my friends and we were able to pull the rear brake mount for paint and measure/drill the Eagle Fender Ornament holes on the Fender.  We took our time and we measured the Fender 9 times from Sunday.  The mounting holes were drilled and my pretty Eagle bolted right up.  Hooking the light up is another story for my next posting update.  Thank you Lord for a Blessed Day!

Sunday's bike goals are to install my Progressive Heavy Duty Shocks and replace the wheel bearings and seals on the front & rear wheels.  I'm getting closer and closer readers to sharing the open road with you.  I have been booking certain Poker Runs & Fund Raisers this Summer for Children.  Everyone loves to read a good story when it come to helping Children.  It warms my Heart!

Ride___, Ride___, Ride ___& Were Gone!
